The formal record in which a debtor, typically within an insolvency or restructuring, lists all creditors, the amounts owed, and the nature of each claim. This schedule is not merely an accounting list but a legal basis for the order of distribution, clarifying the sequence in which secured, preferential, and unsecured creditors are satisfied. This is precisely why lenders in project finance construct the security package and the intercreditor agreement so meticulously: at insolvency, the ranking captured in the schedule directly determines the recovery rate.
