Taksitli ihraçlarda, hangi ilmühaberin hangi ödeme aşamasında olduğunu ve devirlerin kime yapıldığını gösterdiği için hem ihraççı hem de yatırımcı açısından hak takibinin temelidir. Nihai hisse senetleri düzenlenip ilmühaberler bunlarla değiştirildiğinde defterin işlevi sona erer ve kayıtlar esas pay defterine aktarılır.
English Definition
A register in which a company records the scrip, or provisional certificates, it has issued and their holders, enabling the chain of ownership to be traced during the interim before definitive certificates are prepared. In installment issues it forms the basis of entitlement tracking for both issuer and investor, since it shows which certificate stands at which payment stage and to whom transfers were made. Once the definitive shares are issued and the scrip exchanged for them, the book's function ends and its records are carried into the principal share register.
