Sermaye-yoğun projelerde teslim edilen ekipman maliyetinin görünmeyen ama önemli bir bileşeni navlun ve deniz kargo sigortasıdır; ithal edilen türbin, transformatör ya da modüllerin maliyeti fabrika çıkışı fiyatla değil, teslim yerine ulaşmış (CIF ya da DDP) maliyetle değerlendirilmelidir. English Definition
The carriage of goods and equipment by sea, aboard ship — the lowest unit-cost mode for large-volume, heavy items. In capital-intensive projects, an unseen but significant component of delivered equipment cost is ocean freight and marine cargo insurance; the cost of imported turbines, transformers, or modules should be assessed not at ex-works price but at the cost of arrival at the delivery point, whether CIF or DDP. How the delivery term is defined under Incoterms — at what point risk and insurance obligation pass to the counterparty — directly determines who bears responsibility in the event of delay or damage in transit.
