Bir çalışanın, asıl işvereniyle istihdam ilişkisini koruyarak belirli bir süre için başka bir kuruma, iştirake ya da proje şirketine geçici olarak görevlendirilmesidir. Kalkınma finansmanı kuruluşları ve sponsorlar, teknik ve yönetsel kapasiteyi proje şirketine bu yolla aktarır. Görevlendirme sözleşmesinde asıl hassasiyet, maliyet paylaşımından çok sorumluluk ve fikri mülkiyetin hangi tarafta kaldığıdır; zira görevli personelin proje şirketi adına aldığı kararlar, asıl işvereni dolaylı bir sorumluluk zincirine sokabilir. Bu nedenle iyi kurgulanmış bir secondment, yetki ve tazminat sınırlarını baştan ayrıştırır.
English Definition
The temporary assignment of an employee to another organization, affiliate or project company for a defined period while the original employment relationship is retained. Development finance institutions and sponsors transfer technical and managerial capacity to the project company this way. In the secondment agreement the real sensitivity is less cost-sharing than where liability and intellectual property reside, since decisions the seconded person takes on the project company's behalf can draw the home employer into an indirect chain of liability. A well-structured secondment therefore separates the limits of authority and indemnity at the outset.
