English Definition
The refreshing every six months of a project's financial model, operating performance or monitoring report, presented to lenders and stakeholders; the debt service coverage ratio, reserve levels and budget variances are recomputed in this cycle. Project loan agreements typically mandate the update as a reporting covenant and often synchronise it with debt service payment dates. An experienced lender draws meaning less from the content of any single update than from the trend across them; a quiet erosion of the DSCR over successive updates is a far earlier warning signal than the figure of a single period.
