Proje finansmanında bu kavram, rezerv hesabı mimarisinin özüdür; borç servis rezervi, bakım rezervi ve benzeri hesaplar, gelecekteki belirli yükümlülükleri güvenceye almak üzere nakdi sözleşmesel olarak ring-fence eder. English Definition
Amounts of money segregated from the general cash pool for allocation to a specific purpose and restricted from free use. In project finance this concept is the essence of the reserve-account architecture: debt service reserve, maintenance reserve, and similar accounts contractually ring-fence cash to secure defined future obligations. The strength of that segregation lies not merely in accounting for the funds but in feeding them ahead of equity distributions within the cash flow waterfall and holding control with the account bank and lender; otherwise a balance labelled set-aside remains within the sponsor's reach at the moment of default.
