Akreditifli ödemede bu kavramın inceliği tam takım (full set) ibaresindedir; örneğin konşimentonun tüm orijinal nüshalarının sunulması istenir, zira eksik bir nüsha malın kontrolünü elde etme hakkını zayıflatır. Belgelerdeki en küçük tutarsızlık bile bankaya ödemeyi reddetme hakkı verdiğinden, vesaik setinin akreditif koşullarıyla birebir uyumu proje ithalatlarında ödeme riskinin asıl kırılma noktasıdır.
English Definition
The body of documents that evidences a transaction, shipment, or payment and must be presented together; in trade finance it spans the bill of lading, invoice, insurance policy, certificate of origin, and similar papers. Under a documentary credit the subtlety lies in the phrase full set — all original copies of the bill of lading are typically required, because a missing copy weakens the right to obtain control of the goods. Since even the smallest discrepancy entitles the bank to refuse payment, the exact conformity of the document set with the credit's terms is the true breaking point of payment risk in project imports.
