Bu yapı, tarafların bir araya geldiği ama birbirinin performansını garanti etmek istemediği çok taraflı işlemlerde tercih edilir. English Definition
An obligation for which each debtor is responsible only for its own commitment, arising separately and independently of the others' performance, so that the creditor can look to each debtor only for its share. This structure is favored in multi-party transactions where parties come together but do not wish to guarantee each other's performance. In joint-venture and consortium structures, framing capital commitments as several means one partner's failure to perform does not automatically expose the others; but because this protection is a weakness for lenders seeking completion assurance, completion support is often reinforced by a separate joint-and-several undertaking.
