İtalya'nın ihracat kredilerini ve sınır ötesi yatırımları politik ve ticari risklere karşı sigortalayan resmi ihracat kredi kuruluşudur. Proje finansmanında bu tür bir ECA'nın devreye girmesi, İtalyan tedarik içeren işlemlerde borcun bir bölümüne devlet destekli garanti sağlayarak vadeyi uzatır ve fon maliyetini düşürür. Buna karşılık ECA örtüsü, tedarikte yerli içerik (local content) kuralları, OECD Konsensüs fiyatlaması ve çevresel-sosyal şartlara uyum gibi kredi verenin tek başına dayatamayacağı bir dizi ek koşulu da sözleşmeye taşır.
English Definition
Italy's official export credit agency, insuring export credits and cross-border investment against political and commercial risk. In project financing the involvement of such an ECA extends tenor and lowers funding cost on transactions carrying Italian supply, by placing a state-backed guarantee behind part of the debt. That cover, however, imports a set of conditions a lender could not impose alone — national-content rules on procurement, OECD Consensus pricing, and compliance with environmental and social requirements.
