Terim genellikle perakende yatırımcının aksine, dönüş noktalarını erken okuyan fon ve masaları ima eder. Proje finansmanında akıllı para kavramı bir sinyal işlevi görür: deneyimli bir altyapı fonunun ya da tanınmış bir tax equity yatırımcısının sermaye taahhüdü, izleyen kreditörler için bağımsız bir due diligence teyidi gibi okunur ve çoğu zaman sendikasyonun kapanış hızını, tek başına projenin ekonomisinden daha fazla belirler.
English Definition
A term for institutional and professional capital presumed to hold an edge in information, experience and timing, typically set against retail money that arrives late to a move. In project finance the concept operates chiefly as a signal: a commitment from a seasoned infrastructure fund or a well-regarded tax-equity investor reads to following lenders as an independent confirmation of diligence. That anchoring effect often does more to set the pace of a syndication's close than the underlying project economics themselves.
