Bir projenin ihtiyaç duyduğu ekipman, hizmet, sermaye ya da girdiyi uygun tedarikçilerden temin etme sürecidir. Proje finansmanında sourcing yalnızca satın alma değil, aynı zamanda bir risk tahsis kararıdır; tek tedarikçiye bağımlılık, teslim gecikmesini doğrudan ticari işletmeye alma tarihine ve dolayısıyla borç servis başlangıcına taşır. Kredi verenler bu nedenle kritik ekipmanda ikinci kaynak (dual sourcing) ve gecikme cezası hükümlerini çoğu kez finansman ön koşulu olarak arar.
English Definition
The process of procuring the equipment, services, capital or inputs a project requires from suitable suppliers. In project financing, sourcing is not merely purchasing but a risk-allocation decision; dependence on a single supplier transmits delivery delay straight to the commercial-operation date and thus to the start of debt service. Lenders therefore often require dual sourcing of critical equipment and liquidated-damages provisions as a condition precedent to financing.
