Karmaşık projelerde bu uzmanın katkısı fiyat pazarlığından çok, ödeme vadeleri, teslim koşulları ve garanti kapsamı gibi sözleşme mekaniğini kredi verenin gereksinimleriyle hizalamaktır. Deneyimli bir sourcing uzmanının fark yarattığı yer çoğu zaman en düşük teklifi bulmak değil, tedarikçi iflası ya da gecikmesi hâlinde projeyi koruyacak geri çekilme (step-in) ve teminat yapılarını baştan kurgulamaktır.
English Definition
An adviser specialised in procurement strategy, supplier pre-qualification and the structuring of purchase terms. In complex projects this expert's contribution lies less in price negotiation than in aligning contractual mechanics, payment terms, delivery conditions and warranty scope, with the lender's requirements. Where an experienced sourcing expert makes the difference is usually not in finding the lowest bid but in engineering the step-in and security structures that will protect the project should a supplier fail or fall behind.
