Akreditif, teminat mektubu ve kredi çekiş taleplerinde, ibraz edilen imzanın örnek imzayla eşleşmesi ödemenin ön koşuludur. English Definition
A specimen of an authorized person's signature lodged in advance with a bank or paying agent to verify the authenticity of later instructions; together with the signature circular it defines who may bind the entity and up to what amount. In letters of credit, guarantees and loan drawdown requests, matching the presented signature to the specimen is a precondition of payment. In project finance the escrow and drawdown mechanics rest on this verification; a late notification to the bank of a change in the authorized-signatory list can delay release of a construction milestone payment by days and cascade through the schedule.
