Endeksler yalnızca bir barometre değildir; bir paya endekse dâhil olması, pasif fonlardan gelen mekanik talebi tetikler ve şirketin sermaye maliyetini düşürür. English Definition
Benchmark values that compress the collective price movement of a defined group of stocks into a single number to gauge market performance. Indices are more than a barometer; a stock's inclusion triggers mechanical demand from passive funds and lowers the issuer's cost of equity. A project sponsor's entry into or exit from an index shifts the composition of its shareholder base and thus the absorption capacity for a capital raise; for this reason index-rebalancing dates quietly govern the timing of an equity-issuance calendar, a scheduling constraint outsiders rarely price.
