Proje teslimi açısından bu sanayilerin sağlığı doğrudan belirleyicidir; türbin, transformatör ya da hücre üreten tedarik sanayilerinin kapasite durumu ekipman teslim sürelerini ve fiyatını belirler. Yoğunlaşmış ve teslim süreleri uzun bir tedarik sanayii, tam da bu yüzden tedarik slotlarının ve fiyat kilitlerinin finansal kapanıştan sonra değil önce güvenceye alınmasını zorunlu kılar. Nitekim birçok projede kritik yol (critical path), inşaat değil, transformatör sırası gibi tek bir tedarik kalemidir.
English Definition
Upstream industrial sectors that supply inputs, intermediate goods, equipment and raw materials to other, downstream industries. For project delivery their health is directly determinative: the capacity of the supply industries producing turbines, transformers or cells sets equipment lead times and prices. A concentrated supply industry with long lead times is precisely why procurement slots and price locks are secured before financial close rather than after—indeed on many projects the critical path is not construction but a single supply item such as a transformer queue.
