Gelecekteki fiyat hareketlerinden kar elde etme beklentisiyle bir menkul kıymet, emtia, döviz veya başka bir varlıkta finansal çıkar edinmektir. Uzun pozisyon fiyat artışı, kısa pozisyon ise fiyat düşüşü beklentisini ifade eder. Pozisyon almak, tutarın büyüklüğü ve niteliğiyle orantılı piyasa riski maruziyeti içerir.
English Definition
To acquire a financial interest in a security, commodity, currency, or other asset with the expectation of profiting from future price movements. A long position anticipates price increases, while a short position anticipates declines. Taking a position inherently involves market risk exposure commensurate with the size and nature of the holding.
