Teknik standartlara uyum düzenleyici çerçeveler kapsamında çoğunlukla zorunludur ve izin, sertifikasyon ve sigorta teminatı elde etmenin ön koşuludur. ISO ve IEC gibi uluslararası standartlar proje finansmanı belgelerinde yaygın olarak referans alınır.

Compliance with technical standards is often mandatory under regulatory frameworks and is a prerequisite for obtaining permits, certifications, and insurance coverage.
