İsteklinin ihale sürecinde teklifinin gerçek olduğunu ve seçilmesi halinde sözleşmeyi imzalayacağını garanti etmek amacıyla sunduğu genellikle banka teminat mektubu veya kefalet senedi biçimindeki finansal araçtır. İhale teminatı, isteklinin geçerlilik süresi içinde teklifini geri çekmesi veya sözleşmeyi imzalamayı reddetmesi halinde irat kaydedilir. Teklif teminatı veya geçici teminat olarak da bilinir.
English Definition
A financial instrument, typically a bank guarantee or surety bond, submitted by a bidder as part of the tender process to assure the procuring entity that the bid is genuine and that the bidder will enter into a contract if selected. The tender guarantee is forfeited if the bidder withdraws its offer during the validity period or refuses to sign the contract. It is also known as a bid bond or bid security.
