The total period from the date of loan signing or first disbursement until the final scheduled repayment date, encompassing any grace period, availability period, and amortization period. The term of loan is a critical parameter affecting interest costs, debt service coverage ratios, and overall project economics. Longer loan terms reduce periodic repayment amounts but increase total interest expense over the life of the facility.
