English Definition
A residential dwelling provided to an employee as part of their employment contract, with occupancy conditional upon continued service with the employer. Tied apartments are common in industries such as hospitality, agriculture, and education where on-site accommodation is operationally necessary. Upon termination of employment, the occupant is typically required to vacate the premises within a specified notice period.
