English Definition
The legal process of transferring ownership of property from one party to another through an instrument such as a deed, bill of sale, or assignment. Title conveyance requires compliance with formalities prescribed by law, including execution, delivery, and in many jurisdictions, registration. The effectiveness of conveyance determines the buyer's ability to exercise full ownership rights and offer the property as collateral.
