English Definition
The aggregate income generated by an entity from all sources during a specified accounting period, including sales of goods, rendering of services, interest income, and other operating receipts. Total revenue is the top-line figure in the income statement and serves as the starting point for profitability analysis. In project finance, total revenue projections are based on offtake agreements, tariff schedules, and demand forecasts.
