Belirli bir dönemde bir ülkenin toplam mal ve hizmet ihracatı ile toplam ithalatı arasındaki farktır. Pozitif ticaret dengesi (fazla) ihracatın ithalatı aştığını, negatif denge (açık) ise tersini gösterir. Ticaret dengesi cari hesabın önemli bir bileşenidir ve bir ülkenin ekonomik rekabet gücü ile dış finansal pozisyonunun önemli bir göstergesidir.
English Definition
The difference between a country's total exports and total imports of goods and services over a specified period. A positive trade balance (surplus) indicates that exports exceed imports, while a negative balance (deficit) indicates the reverse. The trade balance is a major component of the current account and an important indicator of a country's economic competitiveness and external financial position.
