English Definition
Shares that have been issued and allocated to subscribers as paid-in capital but for which the full subscription price has not been collected. The unpaid amount constitutes a receivable from the shareholder and may be subject to forfeiture if not remitted within the prescribed period. Companies must disclose the amount of unpaid paid-in shares in their financial statements to provide a complete picture of the capital structure.
