English Definition
An auditor's professional judgement that a company's financial statements are free from material misstatement and comply with the applicable accounting framework. The unqualified opinion, also termed a clean opinion, is the highest form of audit assurance available. It indicates that the auditor has obtained sufficient appropriate evidence to conclude that the statements present a true and fair view of the entity's financial affairs.
