English Definition
Products or merchandise that cannot be sold at any price due to damage, contamination, legal prohibition, or complete absence of market demand. Unsaleable goods must be written off or disposed of, resulting in a direct loss to the holder. In warehouse financing and trade transactions, the risk of goods becoming unsaleable is mitigated through quality inspections, insurance coverage, and proper storage conditions.
