Teminatsiz tahvilat, herhangi bir ozel teminat destegi olmaksizin ihrac edilen ve yalnizca ihracinin genel kredi durumu ve itibaruna dayanan uzun vadeli borc enstrumanidir. Bu enstrumanlar genellikle guclue bilancolara sahip koekklu kuruluslar tarafindan ihrac edilir. Sermaye yapisinda teminatsiz tahvilat sahipleri teminatli borc sahiplerinin arkasinda, ancak iflas sureclerinde genellikle ozkaynaka sahiplerinin onunde yer alir.
