Katma değer; emek, sermaye ve girişimciliğin hammaddeleri veya ara malları nihai ürünlere dönüştürmesindeki katkısını yansıtır. Ulusal gelir muhasebesinde temel bir gösterge olup dünya genelinde katma değer vergisi sistemlerinin temelidir.
English Definition
The incremental economic value created at each stage of the production or service delivery process, measured as the difference between the value of outputs and the cost of inputs. Value added reflects the contribution of labour, capital, and entrepreneurship to the transformation of raw materials or intermediate goods into finished products. It is a key metric in national income accounting and serves as the basis for value added taxation systems worldwide.
