English Definition
The party in a sale transaction who purchases or acquires property, goods, or assets from the vendor. In real estate and legal conveyancing, the vendee is the buyer who receives title to the property upon completion of the transaction and satisfaction of all contractual conditions. The vendee's obligations typically include payment of the purchase price, assumption of title-related costs, and compliance with any conditions precedent specified in the sale agreement.
