Sözleşmede belirtilen fesih hükümlerine uygun olarak bir veya birden fazla tarafın sözleşme ilişkisini kasıtlı olarak sona erdirmesidir. Haklı nedenle fesihten farklı olarak ihlal veya temerrüt olayı gerektirmez. İş sözleşmelerinde çalışanın istifasını ifade eder. Tüketici finansmanında ise borçlulara taksitli satış sözleşmelerini malı iade ederek ve yasal eşiğe kadar gerekli bakiyeyi ödeyerek sona erdirme imkânı tanır.
English Definition
The deliberate ending of a contractual relationship by one or more parties in accordance with the termination provisions specified in the agreement. Voluntary termination differs from termination for cause in that it does not require a breach or default event. In employment contracts, voluntary termination refers to an employee's resignation. In consumer finance, it allows borrowers to end hire purchase or conditional sale agreements by returning the goods and paying any required balance up to a statutory threshold.
