Sınır-ötesi projelerde ve emtia taşımacılığında savaş riski primi, hattın geçtiği jurisdiction'ın jeopolitik profiline göre keskin biçimde dalgalanır ve belirli bölgelerde teminatın kısa vadeli, iptal edilebilir esasla verilmesi finansman yapısında ek bir belirsizlik kalemi yaratır. English Definition
A class of insurance covering damage arising from war, civil war, insurrection, sabotage and similar hostile acts, frequently excluded from standard property and transit policies and bought as separate cover. In cross-border projects and commodity transport, the war-risk premium swings sharply with the geopolitical profile of the jurisdiction the route crosses, and in certain regions cover is offered on a short-term, cancellable basis that introduces further uncertainty into the financing structure. Lenders therefore often make the continuity of war-risk cover a condition precedent.
